Shot today, a closeup of a magnolia blossom.
Friends gave me the tree for my birthday back in 2001. I didn't expect it to grow, much less to bloom, but I have been gratefully wrong on both counts. The magnolia is both the state tree and the state flower of my home state of Mississippi. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes.
