| My formal "training" is in writing, with a Master of Arts degree in English from the Center for Writers at the University of Southern Mississippi. The photography, however, is the one thing that's retained a sense of magic for over forty years. I received my first camera as a present in 1962, and though there have been lapses over the years and detours in interest, I always come back to the pictures. All that matters is the pictures.
